Sites for Christian book lovers

I love books and I'm a Christian, so I do enjoy Christian books (as anyone who knows me or has been to my house will attest!). I've collected a number of useful links to sites where you can buy books, read reviews and support Christian literature charities. Enjoy!

Sites for Christian book-lovers

  • Books For Life - Videos of Christian leaders talking about the books that have changed their lives.
Shops

  • 10 of those - A good range of cheap, solid Christian books
  • ICM Books Direct - There's a good selection of books and there are always inventory sales that have some real bargains.
  • The Source - Comprehensive shop and all profits go to support churches and schools in Uganda
  • The Good Book Company - Well organised and comprehensive site with a huge range of stock (including ebooks) and an interesting blog.
  • Eden - Free delivery over £10 and some good sales.
  • CLC - Online and physical retailer.
  • CPO sells leaflets, tracts, posters and cards along with books and other resources.
  • Grove Books - Short, informative booklets on a range of Christian topics including lifestyle, ethics, theology and pastoral issues.
  • UK Christian Bookshop Directory - An easy way to find your local Christian bookshop.
Second hand

  • Book Aid - A fantastic charity that sells second hand Christian books here to support their work supplying Christian literature to places in need.
  • James A. Dickson Books - New, second hand and antiquarian Reformed Christian books
  • Mayflower Christian Bookshop - A good place to find rare and out-of-print titles.
  • Peter and Rachel Reynolds - Based near Bishop Auckland, but able to post books anywhere. Another good option for rare and out-of-print titles.
  • Qoheleth Resources - An individual who sells used books and periodicals, with a particular focus on C. S. Lewis.
  • Bookbarn International - Not specifically Christian, but they have millions of books on all sorts of subjects and offter free UK delivery. Good for antiquarian titles.
