VisualUnit: Biblical Infographics

I had a Good News Bible when I was younger and one of the things I liked most were the pictures. Especially this one, where Satan looks uncannily like Richard O’Brian from the Crystal Maze!


Being a visual person, I was quite disappointed to find that most Bibles don’t have pictures and maybe just include a couple of black and white maps at the back.

So imagine my delight when I discovered VisualUnit - an excellent site full of Biblical diagrams, illustrations and infographics! There are loads of really helpful visual representations of Biblical information, and it’s particularly useful for getting your head around genealogies and working out who is related to whom.

The graphics are all really high quality and PDFs are provided for printing. There are also models that you can cut out and make.


Here are my 10 favourite infographics:
  1. The Heroes of Faith collectable cards. A set of 11 character cards of the Heroes of Faith listed in Hebrews 11 - 12. 
  2. Abraham’s family tree. 
  3. Periodic table of the Bible. 
  4. Bible Timeline cards. Timeline cards to cut out, mix up and then reassemble as the big story of the Bible. 
  5. The armour of God from Ephesians 6: 10 - 18. 
  6. Map of the 7 churches of Revelation. 
  7. ‘I AM’ sayings in John’s gospel. 
  8. Ezekiel in pictures. 
  9. Worldview summary. 
  10. Travelling through the Old Testament.
